02

Bone Grafting

Bone grafting procedures are performed with local anesthetics. The dentist will begin the procedure by removing the bone from the donor site. If the patient does not have enough bone, a graft will be taken from a tissue bank. If the dentist is performing an extraction, the graft will be placed using the incision left from the extraction. For a dental implant procedure, the dentist would place the bone graft alongside the implant. If the graft is being performed for another procedure, the dentist will make an incision in the area of concern and carefully place the bone graft.

Gum Grafting

Gum Graft is a procedure that helps reverse gum recession and it is one of the most delicate procedures performed in dentistry today. A recession to the gums is when the gum surrounding the tooth has pulled away, causing the roots of the teeth to become exposed. During a gum graft procedure, a small strip of gum tissue is usually taken from your palate to cover the exposed root. This can be done for one tooth or several teeth. The main goal of grafting is to restore the health of the gum tissue and to prevent further recession and damage to the tooth.

By far the best doctor!! I can’t say enough good things about Dr Baradaran. He took care of my mom and it was absolutely incredible. She was incredibly gentle and I can’t speak more highly of the incredible skills that come with this wonder doctor. Not to mention it the attention to care he was checking in on her making sure she was feeling great and was extremely attentive. You will not find this with any other doctor that would go above and beyond for his patients. Definitely worth the drive and the investment! Before you consider going anywhere see him first he will take the absolute best care of you and your family. Thank you so much Dr. Baradaran.

I am very happy with the oral surgery I had with Dr Baradaran. From the front office to the nurse that assisted with the procedure to the Dr. himself, everyone was professional and did their best to make my procedure as comfortable and smooth as possible. I had to go out of town a day after the surgery, so the Dr. followed up with me via text daily (sometimes several times a day as needed) to ensure all was ok and to give me recommendations based on any complications etc. Literally a five star service with five star care.
